About this App
Farming on a blockchain looks lucrative until you try it: pick pools, swap tokens, collect rewards, put them back in and pay a network fee each time. SettleTON tries to shrink all that into a single button. 🔁
The project calls itself the first liquidity pool index fund on TON. This is crypto and DeFi, so we will cover the risks as well as the idea.
What hides behind "one click"
You deposit TON into a Vault. A smart contract swaps it for a basket of tokens from what the project describes as established ecosystem projects and places those tokens in pools on decentralized exchanges. In return you receive index tokens that represent your share.
Farming rewards are not paid out to you by hand. They go back into the fund, which raises the value of the index, and new rewards accrue on top of what has already built up. That is compound interest at work.
How the money moves
- Deposit. You send TON to the vault.
- Swap. The contract spreads the amount over several tokens.
- Pools. The tokens go into liquidity pools and you receive a share of them.
- Reinvest. Rewards flow back into the fund automatically.
- Withdraw. You take your funds out with one transaction.
According to the project's documentation, only two transactions are needed: one in and one out. Funds are not locked in the contract, and you can withdraw at any time. 💼
Why diversification matters
The index splits a deposit across several tokens. If one of them drops sharply, the others soften the blow. It is the logic of an ordinary index fund, applied inside the crypto world.
Diversification reduces dependence on a single asset, but it does not protect you from a market-wide decline. If TON gets cheaper, you will end up with less in dollar terms, however well the reinvestment works.
The catch
Any yield figure in projects like this is an illustration, not a promise. Rewards depend on pool activity, trading volume and coin prices, and they can fall fast.
- Smart contract risk. A bug or a hack can wipe out funds. An audit lowers the risk but does not remove it.
- Impermanent loss. When prices of the pooled tokens diverge, your pool share can be worth less than if you had simply held the coins.
- Volatility. TON and other coins move quickly in both directions.
- Small scale. When a project holds little capital, exiting a position can be less convenient than in large protocols.
What to check before your first deposit
- Read the project documentation in full, including the Q&A section.
- Make sure you are opening the official interface, not a copy from a random link.
- Start with an amount whose loss will not change your budget.
- Write down when and how much you deposited, so you can later calculate the result after fees.
Nobody should ever ask for your seed phrase. Connecting a wallet and confirming a transaction happen in the wallet app itself. 🔐
Who might find it useful
People who already hold TON and understand liquidity pools, but do not want to collect rewards by hand. A beginner is better off learning the basics first: how a wallet works, what a network fee is and how farming differs from plain holding.
Treat a product like this as a risky instrument, not as a bank deposit. There is no guaranteed return here.
