SaveZBot: Instagram Downloader

Spotted an Instagram story that disappears in a day, or a clip you want to rewatch offline? SaveZBot sends such material straight into Telegram as a file. ⬇️

The principle is simple: you send the bot a link, and it replies with a media file. The bot's interface comes in English and Russian.

Free or paid

The bot has free features and premium ones. What exactly each tier includes is best checked with /free and /premium, since the lists can change.

The project's channel said version 2.0 added downloading and recording from private profiles. Features like that usually sit in the paid tier, so read the terms before paying.

Private profiles: where the line is

A private account restricts its audience on purpose. Its owner decided who sees the posts. Downloading and spreading that content without the author's consent is unethical and can break the law and the platform's rules.

Download material that belongs to you, or material you have permission to use.

Account safety and other people's rights

If the bot asks you to log in to an account, pause and think. It is a third party, not an official service. Handing over a login and password raises the risk of a hack or a ban.

1. Use a separate account if signing in cannot be avoided.
2. Turn on two-factor protection on your main profile.
3. Never pay outside the bot. Buy a subscription only through the bot's own commands.
4. Check the bot's username. Lookalike fakes are common.

Saving a clip for personal viewing and reposting it under your own name are different things. If you repost, credit the author and ask permission.

Using other people's material commercially requires a license. It is better to learn that early than to receive complaints.
