About this App
You put something important in your calendar, then forgot it for three days because you only open the calendar once a week. That rarely happens with a messenger, since you open it anyway. PersonalPlanner leans on that and sends reminders straight to your private messages. 🔔
It is a Mini App with a bot in Telegram, a personal organizer for events.
An event once, or every week
The core idea is simple: you create events, and they come in two kinds.
- One-time. A doctor visit, a deadline, a friend's birthday, a meeting on a specific day.
- Periodic. An internet bill, a workout, watering plants, a regular call.
Periodic events are the most useful: you do not recreate them each time, so they get lost less often.
Categories against a pile of tasks
Events can be sorted into categories. With ten items you do not need that. With thirty, where work, home and study share one list, you will quickly lose your bearings without them.
A sensible start is three or four categories, no more. For example: work, home, health and everything else. 📂
The reminder lands where you already look
The bot sends event reminders to your private messages. You do not have to keep a separate program open or give it system permissions.
This has a flip side. If you muted the chat, the reminder arrives but you will not hear it. Check the sound settings for the bot's chat first.
Your first ten minutes with the planner
- Open the chat with the bot and launch the Mini App.
- Create two or three categories.
- Add events for the coming week and make some of them periodic.
- Make sure notifications are on for the chat.
- A couple of days later, look back and remove whatever turned out to be noise.
The bot has no command list in its menu, and everything happens in the app itself. If something is unclear, the bot's description points to a separate support bot. 🚀
What a small organizer will not replace
For personal matters it is enough. For team work, complex projects and task dependencies you need a full tracker. A small utility is good precisely because it does little and does not distract.
Do not store passwords, codes or banking details in events. Reminders live in a chat, and anyone holding your phone with the screen open can read it.
