Patrick Bot: Style Your Telegram

Stock Telegram looks the same for everyone: the blue interface, the usual fonts, the default wallpapers. Want something of your own but tired of hunting for themes across channels and chats? This bot, called Patrick, collects the styling in one menu. 🎨

Its profile lists themes, wallpapers, language files, fancy fonts and round videos. Here is what these are and how to use them without trouble.

One menu instead of ten channels

The bot splits everything into clear sections. Each opens with its own command, so you do not need to scroll for what you want.

• /languages leads to the catalog of fun language files.
• /fonts helps you create a font for text.
• /chat adds the bot to a chat.
• /start opens the main menu.

What the language files are

Russian-speaking users call them "tabs": localization files that change interface labels. Instead of the usual captions you see your own, funny, short or themed. The language changes as a whole, so the interface may look unfamiliar after installation. 😄

You can return to the standard language in Telegram settings, in the Language section. Remember that before your first install, so you do not get lost among odd words.

Themes and wallpapers: how to install

1. Choose an option in the bot catalog.
2. Tap the preview. Telegram offers to apply the design.
3. Confirm the install. The theme replaces the interface colors at once.
4. Check readability. If text blends into the background, go back to the standard theme.

Wallpapers set the chat background and also apply in one tap. If a picture distracts from the text, pick a calmer one. Tip: dark muted tones tire the eyes less in the evening. 🌙

Fonts and round videos

The fonts section is for decorating text: captions, nicknames, posts. The result is pasted into a message as plain text. Note that unusual characters may show up as little squares on some devices.

Round videos are Telegram's circular video messages. The bot helps turn an ordinary clip into that format. The messenger itself limits the length of a round video, so a long clip must be trimmed. 🎬

Different platforms, different themes

Telegram themes come in formats made for different devices. Some work only on Android, some on iPhone, some on desktop. If a theme will not apply, the cause is most often an incompatible format.

Check your device in advance and choose designs with a matching label, if there is one.

Download with care

• Do not enter personal data. Styling needs no phone number, password or login code.
• Do not follow suspicious links. A theme installs inside Telegram, with no outside sites.
• Do not agree to paid subscriptions offered as styling.
• Check permissions. A styling bot should not demand access to your chats.

If the bot asks for something unusual, close the dialog. Pretty wallpapers are not worth your account. 🛡
