My Phoenix: Subscriber Account Bot

About this App

Checking a balance, enabling a service or sending money to a relative should not mean calling a hotline and waiting for an agent. The My Phoenix bot does all of this right in a Telegram chat. 📱

It is the official service bot of the mobile operator Phoenix, which works in the Donetsk People's Republic. Around 20 thousand people use it each month.

What you can do from the couch

  • Check the balance. The amount on your mobile account shows up right after login.
  • Manage services. Turn services and plans on and off without calling.
  • Send money. Funds can move from one number to another subscriber.
  • Deferred payment. If your account is empty but you need to stay connected now, this tool helps.
  • Home internet. The bot also controls the operator's home internet account.

All money operations are gathered in the account management section, with a "Financial operations" item inside it.

First login: what you need

The bot asks for a Phoenix number in the format 071XXXXXXX. After confirmation you get access to your account.

  1. Open the bot and press /start.
  2. Enter your phone number in the required format.
  3. Confirm the login the way the bot suggests.
  4. Pick a section from the menu.

The /my command shows which number you are logged in with. It is handy if you have several SIM cards.

Everyday commands

  • /help. Hints on using the bot.
  • /chat. An online chat with an operator when buttons do not solve your question.
  • /my. Shows your number.
  • /logout. Resets your authorization.

The operator chat is good for tricky questions: you can write, attach a screenshot and come back to the reply later. 💬

Moving money between numbers: what to check

Check the recipient number carefully before a transfer: one wrong digit and the money goes to a stranger. Getting it back can be hard.

If you transfer to a new number, send a small amount first. Wait for the recipient to confirm and only then send the main sum. This habit saves nerves and money. 💰

Use deferred payment wisely too: it is not free service but a delay. The amount has to be repaid at your next top-up.

Keeping the account safe

Since the bot touches money on your account, treat it like a banking app. Use only the operator's official bot, not look-alikes with similar names.

If you handed your phone to someone, press /logout to reset authorization. Never send confirmation codes into chats and never transfer money on a request from a "friend's new number". Call the person first. 🔐

When the bot does not respond

Any service has outages. Wait a few minutes and try again. If that fails, write to the operator chat or call the support number from your contract.

The bot is a good first line: fast, no queues, any time of day. For complex cases such as a plan change with new conditions or contract problems, contact the operator in person.
