About this App
Sometimes a decision hangs on a small thing, and you wish someone would just say yes or no. Shar Predskazaniy (the Fortune Ball) greets you as a game wrapped in mystery: you set off in search of the legendary Magic Ball, keeper of the wisdom of ages. 🔮
You launch the bot with the Start button. Then you ask your question and get an answer in the spirit of fortune telling.
An adventure in place of a bare answer
Ordinary ball bots reply instantly. Here the presentation differs: the bot tells a story about a door into a world of secrets and the hunt for an ancient artifact, and your question becomes part of the plot. ✨
That makes the session feel like a small game, not a coin flip. In a group chat the format works well: ask questions in turns and laugh at the answers.
Where the magic ball comes from
The fortune ball toy has been known since the middle of the twentieth century. A polyhedron with short answers floats inside a clear sphere, and when you shake it one answer shows up in a window. Answers are affirmative, evasive or negative.
The idea is simple and so it lasts. Nobody expects the truth from the ball. People use it as a reason to smile and pause for a second before a choice. Digital versions copy this principle.
What you can ask
The ball answers best when your question can be settled with yes, no or maybe. Phrase it so it carries that meaning.
- Everyday forks. "Should I go for a run today?" or "Order pizza?"
- Playful ones. "Will my team win on Saturday?"
- Party questions. Ask them aloud while friends wait for the verdict.
- Reflection. Sometimes the question is more useful than the answer, because it shows what you want.
A prediction does not replace a decision
A game ball is entertainment. It does not know your life, and questions about health, money or important relationships do not belong with it. Serious decisions need facts, calculations and talking to people. ⚠️
Entertainment still has a point. If a "no" leaves you disappointed, you already know what you really want. Many people use fortune telling exactly as a litmus test for their own wishes.
How to play it better
- Ask clearly. The simpler the wording, the funnier and sharper the answer.
- Do not repeat the question. Asking again until you like the reply is dull and spoils the game.
- Play together. Show the bot to friends and take turns.
- Invent a rule. For example, the ball's answer is binding for trivial things like choosing a film. 🎬
A game mechanics developer is behind it
The bot's profile says its author develops game mechanics for business. That makes a bot like this an example of how to liven up communication with an audience: a poll, a fortune, a mini game.
If you run a channel or a shop, treat the format as an idea. Playful interaction often holds attention longer than an ordinary mailing. 🎯
Who the bot is for
It suits anyone who wants a light, effortless pastime for a couple of minutes. It also fits mystery fans who do not take fortune telling seriously, and people who struggle to choose between two options.
