About this App

Cramming cranial nerves from a textbook and still mixing up the order? Preparing for a Latin exam and hating flashcards? Lisa Med Tech builds medical apps for students and doctors: quizzes, scales, clinical trainers and educational games. Everything runs inside Telegram, with nothing to install. 🧠

The catalogue behind the Menu button

The bot itself works as a storefront. Tap the Menu button and the studio's catalogue of mini apps opens. Its authors call themselves an independent MedTech team and make the materials with input from doctors.

The studio's website describes eight projects. Each covers its own slice of study or practice.

  • Quiz MD: clinical cases and questions by specialty, from easy to hard.
  • Lisa Histology: an atlas and trainer with real specimens under the microscope.
  • RADIX: medical Latin, terms, prescriptions and rules for exam prep.
  • Code 03: ambulance calls and symptom recognition against the clock.
  • PULSE: an arcade on physiology and anatomy.
  • Pharmacy Shift: drugs, their uses and classes.
  • Neuro Detective: learning the cranial nerves through clinical cases.
  • Night Shift: a pixel game about a night duty in the emergency department.

There is also a separate project, NeuroScales, with neurological scales for work and study. 🩺

Why the game format works

Medical material is enormous and reading it straight through is hard. A short trainer with a question, an answer and an explanation of your mistake sticks better, because you retrieve the knowledge from memory yourself.

A clinical case does the same thing closer to reality. Instead of a dry symptom list you get a patient, complaints and a choice of next step. You learn to think like a doctor, not like a reference book.

Games such as the timed ambulance or the night shift add tempo. They help lock in what you already studied, but they do not replace the textbook.

The Lisa+ subscription

Some apps are available through the Lisa+ subscription, which according to the studio's website opens all the apps in Telegram. Prices are in Telegram Stars:

  • One month: 199 stars.
  • Three months: 499 stars.
  • One year: 1599 stars.

Purchases in Telegram and in the App Store work separately, so a subscription in one place does not carry over to the other. To avoid overpaying, try the free part first if there is one and decide afterwards. 💫

Buy Stars only inside Telegram. Third-party star resellers risk your money or your account, and the studio has no connection to them and takes no commission.

What a doctor or student should keep in mind

The materials are for educational and reference purposes. A trainer does not diagnose or prescribe. Decisions about real patients rest on clinical guidelines and an examination.

Scales and quizzes are handy as a reminder and as practice. Before using them in clinic, check numbers and thresholds against current guidelines in your country.

If you are not in medicine and are simply curious about the body, the apps are interesting too, but do not use them to analyse your own symptoms. That is a doctor's job. ✅

How to get going

  1. Open the bot and tap Menu.
  2. Pick an app for your task: histology, Latin, neurology or clinical cases.
  3. Study in short sessions of ten to fifteen minutes.
  4. Return to your mistakes after a couple of days, not the next day.

Updates and support live in a separate studio channel, which the bot mentions in its description.
