FrontBurobot: Report a Local Problem

The yard has waited two years for a sidewalk, a school missed its deadline, a house is cracking, and letters to the city hall vanish into paperwork. The chat bot of the People's Front Investigation Bureau offers one more channel: you can report a problem right in Telegram. 🏗️

The bot description says the team has set off on a big tour of Russian regions to inspect landscaping and other socially significant sites. Residents are asked to report what they see around them.

What you can report

The bot collects reports on four topics:

• Poor landscaping. Yards, parks and playgrounds done carelessly.
• Unfinished sites. Hospitals, schools and other social buildings left unfinished or not put into operation.
• Problem houses. Buildings that need major repair or an unsafe status, and houses handed over with violations.
• Roads and sidewalks. The ones in terrible shape.

The bot menu has a single command, /start, which restarts it and refreshes the menu. 💬

How to file a report that works

A vague 'everything is bad' cannot be examined. Specifics give a chance of a check.

1. Give the exact address: city, street, house number or a landmark.
2. Describe the problem and how long it has existed.
3. Attach fresh photos or video that show the defect and its surroundings.
4. Leave a way to reach you in case details need clarifying.

The clearer the report, the easier it is for inspectors to understand where to go and what to look at. 📸

The bot and official channels

A report to the bot does not replace an official complaint. If the matter concerns safety, such as a crumbling house or a dangerous road, also send a written appeal to the local administration, the management company or a supervisory body, and keep the registration number.

A written complaint with a date and a signature gives you legal grounds to demand an answer within the set time. The bot helps make a problem more visible, but guarantees no result. ⚖️

What to know about the project

The Investigation Bureau of the People's Front is a public initiative with its own channel. It publishes stories about work on residents' appeals. Decisions on specific cases are made by people, not by the bot, so review times depend on circumstances.

Keep in mind the organisation's political context too: if independence matters to you, compare different ways of raising your problem. The choice is yours.
