University timetables change more often than anyone would like: a class moved, a teacher swapped, a room changed at the last minute. This Telegram helper shows the current Financial University schedule and tells you when something changes. 🎓
The bot is official. The university's own news page describes it as an updated Telegram bot for following classes, and it runs around the clock. There is also a mini app with the same schedule.
Three ways to look up a timetable
The menu has three main lookups, and each one answers a different question.
- Group. The /group command opens the timetable of a study group. This is the everyday case for a student.
- Teacher. The /teacher command helps when you need to know where and when a particular person teaches.
- Room. The /room command lists the classes held in a chosen room.
The remaining commands are service ones: /mysubscriptions, /info and /settings.
Subscriptions beat daily lookups
Opening the timetable every morning gets old fast. The bot has a "My subscriptions" section: pick a group or a teacher once, and changes arrive on their own.
The bot's own description says it keeps users informed about schedule changes. For a student that means fewer trips to a first class that was already moved to another time.
Your first five minutes
- Open the bot and press Start.
- Choose the type of schedule: group, teacher or room.
- Type a group number or a surname and pick your match from the list.
- Subscribe to the group to receive change notifications.
- Check the settings and adjust the bot to your habits.
If something misbehaves, the bot profile lists a technical support contact. Writing to support beats guessing.
Group chats and class monitors
The university's website says class monitors can add the bot to the group's study chat. Then the whole group receives the timetable, including people who never set up a subscription.
It saves the monitor from forwarding screenshots and answering "what time tomorrow?" twenty times. When classes shift often, a shared chat with the bot works better than private messages.
What to keep in mind
A schedule in Telegram is always a copy of what sits in the university's official system. If the data there has not been refreshed yet, the bot will show the old version too.
Before an important class, a credit test or an exam, double check the time on the university site or ask in your group chat. 📌
One more thing: next to the official bot, Telegram search often shows unofficial student projects with similar names. A schedule bot should never ask for your personal account password, a payment or bank card details. None of that is needed to show a timetable.
Who gets the most out of it
- First-year students. Until you learn which building is which, room lookup saves nerves.
- Students with part-time jobs. You can see the gaps between classes in advance and plan errands.
- Teachers. A quick check of your own timetable and rooms.
- Parents and friends. No need to ask a student when they will be free.
The bot does not substitute for the university's electronic systems. It gives fast access to the main facts: what, where and when. 😎
