Advanced Delete All Bot: Clean Up Chats

Bot • Moderation & Anti-Spam

About this App

Your channel has thousands of old posts, your group is full of spam, and deleting them one by one would take days. Advanced Delete All Bot takes over that chore: it wipes messages in groups and channels using filters you set. 🧹

It comes from CodeXBotz, a team that builds tools for chat admins.

How you control it

There are only a few commands, and that is enough. /start launches the bot, /help shows the instructions, and the main command /delall deletes messages that match your conditions.

Filters let you remove one type of message instead of everything. The exact list of options appears in the help text after /help.

Permissions decide everything

For the bot to delete anything, it must be an admin of the chat or channel with the right to delete messages. Without that it can do nothing, which is how it should be.

  1. Add the bot to the group or channel.
  2. Make it an admin with the delete messages right.
  3. Send /delall and choose your filters.
  4. Confirm and wait for the result.

A queue beats waiting around

Telegram limits how fast bots can act. Delete thousands of messages with no pauses and you hit flood waits, where the server asks you to hold on.

The developers added a queue that spreads deletion over time and cuts down on those stops. For a large archive the difference is clear. A later update also removes messages carrying copyright notices instantly.

When it earns its place

  • Spam cleanup. An ad wave in a group goes away in minutes.
  • Channel refresh. Old posts that are no longer relevant.
  • Project shutdown. Leftovers from past campaigns.
  • Test chats. Return an empty playground after experiments.

What to remember before you tap

Deletion cannot be undone. Wiped messages do not come back, and in a channel with subscribers the discussions under the posts disappear too.

Save what you might need first by exporting history from Telegram Desktop. Then test a filter in a dummy chat before running it on the real one.

Keeping access under control

Admin rights are a serious key. Give the bot only the right to delete messages and none of the others. When the cleanup is done, remove the bot from the admin list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What permissions does the bot need?▼
Make it an admin of the group or channel with the right to delete messages. Other rights, such as adding admins, are not needed. After the cleanup is finished, it is wise to remove the bot from the admin list.
Can I get deleted messages back?▼
No, deletion is permanent. Before running /delall, export the chat history in Telegram Desktop and try your filter in a test group. It takes a few minutes and protects you from losing something important.
Why is deletion slow?▼
Telegram limits how fast bots can act, so large volumes cannot be erased instantly. The bot has a queue that adjusts to those limits and reduces flood wait pauses. For an archive of thousands of messages, be patient.
Do I need to pay for the bot?▼
Adding it to a chat and granting rights is all it takes to get started. Open /help inside the bot to see the current options and available filters.
