InstantViewBot: clean article reading

You open an article link and meet banners, pop-ups and three screens of ads before the first paragraph. 📰 InstantViewBot clears all that: you send the bot a link and it returns an Instant View page with the main text.

Instant View is a Telegram mode where an article opens instantly, in a clean form, inside the messenger. The bot builds such pages from any article.

What goes, what stays

The bot works with articles that have standard HTML structure. It cuts out ads, sidebars and heavy design elements.

• Stays. The main text and key images.
• Disappears. Ads, side blocks, intrusive widgets.
• Long articles. Split into linked pages with a button to continue.

Three ways to send an article

1. Send the bot a link as a normal message.
2. Forward any message containing a link from a channel, group or private chat.
3. Try inline mode: type the bot's name and a space in any chat, then paste text with a link. This feature is announced as beta.

The result arrives in the chat, and you can open or forward it.

Small things worth knowing

• The bot can extract the final address from redirect links and shortened links.
• It can turn small PDF files (up to 4 MB) into a reading page.
• The /help and /support commands lead to help and support.

Privacy and cost

The authors state that the bot does not save the link between a user and an article. They also warn that the server owner could in theory access the database and messages.

So do not send the bot links to personal documents, private pages or anything you do not want strangers to see. 🔒

Terms have changed: the project channel announced a paid model because of rising server costs, then a return to free access in private chats. Check the updates channel for current terms.

When the bot struggles

Not every site works. Paywalled articles, pages with unusual markup and material that needs a login may fail to process.

If the result looks broken, open the original in a browser. That is the usual fallback in such cases.

Who benefits

People who read many long pieces on a phone, build link roundups for a channel, or simply dislike ads. Opening a clean version is faster than closing windows on a site.
