About this App
The village falls asleep. The werewolves wake up, and by morning someone is missing. 🐺 Black Werewolf turns a group chat into a game room for a Mafia-style game, with no host required: the bot deals the roles, counts votes and announces results.
The bot's description calls it the second bot of the project. For players that means games can run in several groups at once, without waiting for a free slot.
How a round goes
The rules are familiar to anyone who has played Mafia. At night the werewolves choose a victim and try to stay unnoticed. By day the villagers decide whom to lynch. The side that manages its task wins.
The bot runs the game itself. Night actions happen in your private chat with it, while discussion and voting take place in the group. That way nobody sees anyone else's choice.
Modes for every mood
The command list shows a large set of modes:
- /startgame launches a normal game.
- /startclassic gives a classic role set.
- /startchaos hands out roles randomly, so rounds stay unpredictable.
- /startwolves pits the village against the wolves.
- /startkillers builds a round with killers only.
- /startbattle sets teams against each other.
- /startmax opens a game for 50 players or more.
- /startcustom lets you set your own role list, separated by commas.
There are also playful modes such as foolish and mighty, plus a romantic one. Try several: the mode sets the tone of the evening.
Group settings and order
The group admin opens /config and changes the language, player count and other options. The /setlang command switches the language just for you.
To stop games from starting by themselves, use /blockgames: then only admins can start. /unblockgames restores the default. When sign-up drags on, /extend gives more time, and /forcestart launches the round without waiting for the rest.
Achievements and stats
For the competitive there is a collection of achievements: /myachv shows the ones you have, /missingachv what is still ahead. /topplayers lists the best players in your group, and /stats opens data on the project's website. 🏆
It turns evening rounds into a small contest inside your friend group.
Getting players together
- Add the bot to a group with friends.
- Message it privately and press Start, so it can send you night menus.
- Pick a mode and start the game.
- Wait for players, then begin.
If you have no company, /grouplist suggests groups where people already play. But when joining other chats, remember they are open communities. Do not share personal details there.
Support and paid options
For news, look in the announcements channel linked from the profile. Support is there too, and /help shows the help chat. The /donate, /premium and /sponsor commands explain project support and paid group options. Read the terms inside the bot and pay only there. 💬
