A llama needs carrots, and you need patience. League of Llamas in Telegram is built on that loop: feed the animal, it prepares reward boxes, you collect coins and stack them in hope of the project's token. It runs inside the messenger, so there is nothing to install. 🦙
It is a crypto game, though, so the buttons are only half the story. Below: how the loop works, where rewards come from and where the traps are.
Carrot in, box out
The main source of Llama Coins is the reward boxes on the Explore page. Your llama prepares them, but only after you feed it carrots. Without any boosts, one box opens per hour.
Two stats can be upgraded:
- Speed: more boxes per hour.
- Stamina: a single feeding lasts longer.
The rhythm is feed, leave, return later. Staying in the app all day gains nothing, but if you forget about it, boxes sit idle.
Other ways to collect coins
Boxes are not the only route. The game has a few more activities that pay out coins:
- Tasks: the list refreshes from time to time, so check back.
- Referrals: you get coins when friends join through your invite link.
- Daily check-in: rewards start on day two and grow with an unbroken streak.
- Wallet connection: opens extra features and prepares your account for a future token distribution.
Nobody forces you to invite anyone. If you are only pinging friends for a bonus, ask yourself whether they would want this game at all.
What UNITE is and how coins relate to it
According to the developers, Llama Coins can be converted into the UNITE token before the token generation event (TGE). UNITE is the native token of the team's own third-layer chain, which sits on top of a second-layer blockchain. It is used as a reward for players and network participants.
The developer, Unite, builds a wider platform for blockchain games. League of Llamas is the one made for Telegram, with a launch planned for late 2024. The public guide does not spell out an exchange rate or conversion terms, so treat coins as points rather than money.
The catch with any token-reward game
Crypto rewards in games like this can lose value, or end up worth nothing. A token carries no price guarantee, and its listing and liquidity depend on the market and on decisions made by the team. 💸
A few rules that save regrets:
- Do not spend real money on upgrades expecting to earn it back. Rewards are not guaranteed.
- Connect a separate wallet with a small balance, and do not sign requests you do not understand.
- Never share your wallet recovery phrase. A legitimate game will never ask for it.
- Follow only the project's official channel and documentation, and ignore private messages from "managers".
Promotions have also appeared where holding certain other tokens gave a bonus. Such terms change fast, so read the rules in the game itself, not in retellings.
Who will enjoy it
If you like slow games where regularity beats reflexes, the format fits: five minutes in the morning, five in the evening, and your progress is waiting. If you want quick results or an income, look elsewhere. This is a game about accumulating, not earning.
It also works as a gentle introduction to crypto games. You see how a wallet, a signature request and token rewards behave without risking serious money, provided you do not pay for upgrades. 🙂
Treat it as a game: for fun, with a time limit. If a reward ever lands, call it a pleasant surprise.
