About this App
Several words are encrypted, only one is correct, and you get four tries. Terminal Station turns guessing into a game inside Telegram and pays out points for good answers. It sounds like a gamble, and it is one. 🔐
The project calls itself a GambleFi and GameFi platform in Mini App form. Here is how the game works and where the risk sits.
How a round works
The game shows several encrypted words. One is right, the rest are decoys. You have four attempts, and your score depends on the attempt on which you hit.
- First attempt: 100 points.
- Second: 75 points.
- Third: 50 points.
- Fourth: 25 points.
Miss all four and the round is lost. A wrong answer gives a hint that helps you narrow down what remains.
The Hack button: a lottery inside the game
Besides normal attempts there is a Hack button with a random outcome. It may mean an automatic loss, an extra attempt, the loss of one attempt, a 50% bonus on points, or a 50% penalty.
This is the gambling layer: you risk what you have earned for a possible gain. Pressing it without thinking is a bad habit.
Points, token and wallet
According to the project's materials, points for correct answers were meant to be converted into the $TERMINAL token. You can play with a Telegram account, and to link with the blockchain you connect a TON wallet or an EVM wallet.
"Points will become tokens" stays a promise until it happens. Price, liquidity and even the distribution itself depend on the team's decisions and the market.
What the team planned
The team's publications described a next version: a platform with various mini-games, including modes against the machine and against other players. A lot may have changed since then, and the bot's own page now frames the project around gambling mechanics.
What GambleFi means
The term covers projects where game mechanics are combined with gambling and crypto assets. In a normal game you lose time. Here, points and tokens that carry or will carry a market price may be on the line.
Two rules follow. Do not treat points as savings, and decide in advance how much time and money you are willing to spend.
Where the risk hides
- Points are not money. They are worth nothing until a token trades and you can withdraw it.
- Wallet connection. Approve only operations you understand, and never type a seed phrase anywhere.
- Gambling pull. Random-outcome elements are easy to get hooked on, especially when points carry a "future price".
- Timing. Joining early guarantees no reward.
Playing without needless losses
Treat it as entertainment, not income. Set a time limit. Use a separate wallet address with a small balance and keep your main wallet out of it.
If anyone asks you to send money "to activate" or to enter a recovery phrase, it is a scam. Close the window. 🙂
