Twenty seconds, a few funny characters and one chance to guess who survives. Tacoku is a prediction game on Telegram that the TAC team built for the Korea Blockchain Week conference in September 2025. 🍶

The bot has around 167 thousand users. The game is Korean in spirit: instead of the usual coins you collect cups of soju and place bets in virtual races.

What a round looks like

A round lasts about 20 seconds. Several characters start, and one drops out at every stage. Before it begins you decide which one to back with your in-game Tacoku coins.

Did your pick survive? You win more coins and climb the leaderboard. Lost? The coins are gone, but you get a free starting stash.

Soju cups and your starter stash

The profile says free soju cups are yours to claim. That is an in-game currency, not real money and not a drink. Bets use virtual coins only.

The game does not ask you to pay in order to start. Real money does not take part in the rounds.

The tournament and the prize pool

For the conference the organizers ran a tournament from the 22nd to the 26th of September. The bot description names a prize pool of 13,000 dollars in $TAC tokens, and other announcements mentioned several pools for top players and for those who brought in friends.

Prices of tokens like this swing a lot. A prize in tokens is not a guaranteed sum of money, because its value can change daily. ⚠️

The app gives you a personal link so you can invite friends. Each person who joins brings you extra coins.
