Seedream: fix a photo with one sentence

A stranger walked into your best shot, a banner needs a caption, or you'd like the background to be the sea. That used to mean an evening in a photo editor. The Seedream bot does it from a plain sentence: upload the photo, say what to change, get the result. 🎨

The bot runs on the Seedream image model, which it calls V5, and can both create images from scratch and edit existing ones.

Two ways to work

• Edit (/edit). Changes to your photo: swap the background, remove or add objects, rewrite text.

Writing a good prompt

1. What and where. Replace the background with an evening beach beats make it nice.
2. One change at a time. Break complex edits into steps.
3. Quote the text. If you need a caption, give it word for word and say where it goes.
4. Style and light. When generating from scratch, add style, time of day and mood.
5. Examples. /example shows finished work you can build on.
