About this App
You made an image with a neural network, and now there is a mark in the corner and service data tucked inside the file. Nano Banana Remover handles that cleanup. You send a picture, the bot sends back a processed copy. 🍌
It is built around images from the Nano Banana model, but the idea is simple and the metadata part applies to any photo you want to clean before posting.
What happens to your picture
According to the bot's own description, it removes the generator's watermark and wipes EXIF data. Everything runs inside the chat, so there is nothing to install on your phone or computer.
- Watermark. The visible generator mark placed on the image.
- EXIF data. Information stored inside the file: when and how it was created, sometimes the device model and GPS location.
- Output. Mode and quality are set in the /settings menu.
From upload to clean file in three steps
- Start the bot. /start shows the welcome message and what to do next.
- Pick your settings. /settings controls mode and quality. Set them once and they become your defaults.
- Send an image. /remove prepares the bot to take uploads with your defaults. You get the processed file in return.
The other commands are supporting ones: /help for instructions, /feedback to write to the author, /about for developer details and /privacy for the privacy policy.
Why bother with EXIF at all
Almost every phone photo carries EXIF. It can include the date, the camera model and the coordinates of where you stood. If you post a real photo, removing that data keeps private details private.
Generated images can carry service fields too, such as the software used and the creation time. Handy in a personal archive, usually unnecessary in a public post.
Watermarks and honesty
Marks on AI images exist for a reason. They help viewers see that an image is generated. Some generators also add invisible markers, and removing the visible one does not guarantee those are gone.
A sensible rule: clean the file if the mark ruins the layout of your own project. Do not pass a generated picture off as a photo of a real event or a document.
Many platforms and ad networks ask you to label AI content. Misleading people in news or reviews can get an account banned.
Check these before you use it
- Privacy. The bot receives your whole image. Keep passports, private chats and personal photos away from it until you have read /privacy.
- Quality. Compare the result with the original at full size, especially where the mark used to sit.
- Originals. Keep the source file somewhere safe in case the result is not what you wanted.
- Rights. Usage terms for generated images depend on the generator and the plan you used.
Who gets the most out of it
Designers and channel authors who make covers and illustrations with a neural network. Marketers who need a clean image for a layout. Anyone who would rather not publish a photo with extra data inside the file.
If all you want is a quick result with nothing to install, a bot is easier than learning an editor or a command line. A request like "remove EXIF" takes one message.
