Reputation Builder by Galactica

What do you get for being active online? Usually nothing: platforms keep the data, and your reputation stays with them. Reputation Builder offers a different approach: collect reputation points and tie them to your own digital identity 🪪

The mini app belongs to the Galactica network. Here is what you do in it, what the points are and which questions to ask before spending time on them.

What Reputation Builder is

The bot opens a mini app inside Telegram. You message the bot and press the app button, with no separate installation. The bot's page shows over 11 thousand monthly users.

The idea is a small game of building reputation: you complete tasks, track progress and claim a reward once a day.

Points and a digital identity

Daily activity earns reputation points. According to Galactica, they affect the reputation of your digital identity in the network and payments the network calls universal basic income.

A digital identity is a set of verified facts about a person: app activity, confirmed skills and other records. The approach is meant to help tell real people from bots.

• Daily check-in. The reward comes for regularity.
• Tasks. Done inside the app, they give points.
• Invites. Friends bring extra points under the project's terms.

The token and the promises

On the network's site the points are tied to its GNET token, and the mini app is pitched with the line build your reputation and farm points. That means part of the audience comes for a possible reward.

Remember that points are not money. Whether they become tokens, on what terms and at what rate is up to the team. Do not build financial plans on this.

How not to waste your time

Tasks and daily check-ins can take little time, but a habit of farming points across a dozen projects quickly turns into a job.

1. Set a limit. Five minutes a day, for example.
2. Read the terms. Check exactly what the project asks you to do.
3. Do not hand over a seed phrase. The mini app has no need for it.
4. Do not pay for points. If you are asked to, stop and check the source.
5. Be careful with invites. Do not spam acquaintances with links.

Data about you

A digital identity is tied to personal information, and the network describes storing identity verification (KYC), social activity and other data in it. Before confirming anything, read what is collected and how it is used.

As a rule, the fewer documents you hand over, the smaller the consequences of a leak. Share data only when you understand the purpose.

Who it is for

It suits people curious about digital identity and blockchain projects who can watch an experiment without big expectations. If you need dependable income, this is the wrong road.

The curious can try it for a couple of days and decide if the rhythm fits. What matters is that the cost in time and data matches your expectations.
