Inline Saver Bot: snippets at hand

Do you keep digging through chat history for the same replies, pictures and snippets? Inline Saver Bot stores them and pulls them up in any conversation once you type the bot's name in the message box. ⚡

The bot calls itself an inline filter: you save a post, and it becomes available through inline search in any chat. Text and all kinds of media work.

How inline mode works

Inline is a Telegram feature: you type a bot's name in the message field and it shows a list of options right above the keyboard. Pick one, and it is sent to the chat with no switching around.

In Inline Saver Bot that list consists of your saved posts. The message lands in the conversation as if you had just typed it.

Saving your first post

1. Open the bot and press /start.
2. Send /add and follow the prompts: invent a keyword.
3. Send the text, photo, video or file you want to keep.
4. In any chat, type the bot's name and the keyword.
5. Pick the result you need from the list.

Give filters short, clear words. A month from now you will not remember what "post3" means, but "pricing" or "address" is found instantly.

Who saves time with it

People who repeat themselves often tend to set up a bot like this:

• chat admins with rules and answers to common questions;
• small shop owners with price lists and payment details;
• teachers with assignment templates and references;
• anyone with favorite stickers, memes and ready-made replies.

Backups prevent losses

Export produces a file with all your filters. Store it separately, for example in Telegram's Saved Messages or on a computer. 💾

Import is for a move or a failure. Upload the file and the filters return. You can also share the file with a colleague so they get the same presets.

Things to keep in mind

The bot works as storage, so do not keep passwords, photos of documents or card details in it. If the service stops, access to the saved items goes with it. 🔒

Export regularly so your important presets stay with you whatever happens to the bot. Check that inline mode responds, and prune outdated filters from time to time.
