Podslushanka: A Story at a Tap

Bot • Fun & Entertainment

About this App

A queue, a break, a sleepless night, and nothing to read. Podslushanka 🙊 serves one anonymous story at a time from the "Podslushano" project: tap a button, read, tap again.

The bot promises not to repeat itself, and that is the hook. Every new story is a small surprise.

One button, one story

After starting, you see a "Next story" button. Press it, get a random story, and keep going as long as you like.

There are no feeds, sections or settings. It reads easily one-handed on a phone, on the move or between tasks.

Bot commands 🙊

  • /next shows the next story.
  • /start brings back the "Next story" button.
  • /rate asks you to help the bot climb the ranking.
  • /notifications turns notifications on and off.
  • /help lists the commands.
  • /about tells you about the bot's creator and collaboration.

Where the stories come from

"Podslushano" is a format of anonymous confessions and overheard stories: people send what they heard, lived through or could not tell anyone. The bot collects such texts and serves them one by one.

The related app also has reactions and daily, weekly and yearly rankings of stories.

What to keep in mind while reading 🤔

Anonymous stories cannot be verified. They may be true, exaggerated or invented, and you will never learn the author.

  • Do not treat stories as facts about specific people.
  • Do not try to identify characters from details, because that leads to harassment.
  • If a heavy topic appears, just press "Next".

Texts in this format can be crude and explicit. If you read together with children, skip the bot.

Notifications without the noise 🔔

If you want stories on a schedule, turn on notifications with /notifications. Tired of them, switch them off in the same place.

It works as a small ritual: one story in the morning or evening instead of an endless social feed that swallows an hour.

Why stories like these are so sticky

Other people's secrets and awkward moments work like mini movies: a couple of paragraphs hold a plot, a character and an ending. They read fast, need little thinking and carry real emotion.

Comparing yourself with the characters is safe, too. You can smile, sympathize or feel glad it did not happen to you.

Still, keep it in measure. If the bot eats an hour instead of five minutes, set yourself a limit, such as ten stories per session, and get back to your day.

You can tell your own story too

If you want to share something, look at the "Podslushano" project itself and its submission rules. Leave out names, numbers, addresses and any detail that could identify people.

The bot is built as a storyteller and has a channel with its own news. The /about command lets you contact the creator about collaboration.
