GROK BOT: Grok 4 in Telegram

A question pops up mid-conversation and you do not want to switch apps. 🤖 GROK BOT puts an AI chat inside Telegram: type a question and get an answer from the Grok 4 model.

It is a third-party bot, not a product of the model's developer. Its description says it is based on Grok 4 and has a free version.

The model under the hood

Grok 4 was released by xAI, with the announcement dated July 9, 2025. The model was trained with heavy use of reinforcement learning and taught to use tools: a code interpreter and web search.

It accepts text and images, can write its own search queries and pull fresh information from the web.

Modes switched by commands

• /menu opens the main menu.
• /new_chat starts a fresh conversation.
• /expert turns on expert mode for hard questions.
• /internet connects web search for fact checking.
• /image and /image_pro generate pictures, the second in an enhanced mode.
• /video creates video.

Getting more from each chat

1. Open the bot and press /start or /menu.
2. Use /new_chat to keep different tasks in separate conversations.
3. Turn on internet mode for questions about news and facts.
4. Describe the task in detail: who you are, what you need and in what form.

The more specific the request, the more useful the answer. "Make a plan" works worse than "draft a three week exam prep plan".

Task ideas for each mode

It helps to know in advance which mode fits which job. Answers then arrive faster and sharper.

• Regular chat. Explain a topic, rewrite an email, think up a headline.
• Expert. Walk through a hard problem step by step, compare solution options.
• Internet. Check a fresh fact, a rate, an event date.
• Images and video. Make an illustration for a post or a short clip from a description.

For image generation, describe the scene, style and colors. If the result misses, adjust one detail and retry instead of rewriting everything.

Video takes patience: processing is slower than a text reply, and the first attempt is rarely perfect. 🎬

About honesty and AI

The bot calls itself the most honest AI bot, but any language model can be wrong and sound sure about it. Search mode helps but does not replace checking.

• Verify numbers, dates and quotes against primary sources.
• Do not rely on AI for legal, medical or financial decisions.
• Do not send passwords, documents or personal data into the chat.
