About this App
You hold some crypto, but you cannot pay for coffee, a subscription or a ticket with it directly. The usual route is a trip to an exchange, a sale and a wait for the transfer to reach your card. BFinance shortens that path: the card is issued and funded inside Telegram. 💳
It is a mini app with financial tools. Send /start and it opens in the chat.
A card you top up with crypto
The main feature is a virtual card you can fund with digital money. The service supports popular coins and stablecoins: you can top up in TON, BNB, TRX and USDT.
You use the card anywhere that accepts ordinary bank cards. The coins are converted into the payment amount.
Not every card behaves the same way. Some work with your phone's mobile wallet, while the basic virtual card is meant for online purchases and cannot be added to a phone wallet. Check which type you need before you issue one.
More than one card
The app description lists bank cards, payments, transfers and eSIM services. The project channel has also announced newer features: ✈️
- Bank accounts. Receive dollars into an account in the app and swap them to crypto.
- Other currencies. Details in Brazilian reais and Mexican pesos were announced for Latin America.
- Pounds. A British account with fast payments was announced as well.
- Airport services. Fast track, meet and greet, and lounge access.
The feature set changes, so check what is available in your country inside the app.
Make sure you have the real bot
Popular finance bots get copied a lot. Scammers set up lookalikes with a similar name and ask for a wallet recovery phrase or card details.
- Check the bot's exact name and open it through a link from the project's official channel.
- Never send a seed phrase, passwords or SMS codes to anyone who says they are support.
- Real support does not ask you to transfer money for verification.
A bot cannot message you first, so an unrequested note from "support" deserves suspicion. 🛡️
A careful first session
- Open the bot with /start and explore the sections before you deposit anything.
- Read the fees for issuing and maintaining the card, plus top up and conversion charges.
- Start with a small amount and test an online payment.
- Keep on the card only what you plan to spend.
If you hold a volatile coin, its price at the moment of payment may differ from the price when you topped up. Stablecoins are usually the saner choice for spending. 📉
Risks to understand up front
Crypto cards are a young and fast moving area. Terms, limits and availability depend on your country, and regulators keep refining the rules. The service has said it is going through licensing for crypto services in the European Union. That is a normal step for the industry, but it also means terms may change.
For larger amounts and some operations the service may ask you to confirm your identity, which is standard for financial companies. Do not keep all savings in one place and do not put in money you cannot afford to lose. ⚠️
