You want to understand how big players build portfolios, but putting real money in feels scary. BeWhale offers a sandbox: an AI analyst assembles a portfolio on live prices, and you test it without risking your own balance 🐋
The bot profile says it in a few words: an AI analyst builds and tests your portfolio on live prices, the data covers real funds and whales, and nothing is at risk. It runs as a mini app inside Telegram, and a web version exists too.
Meet Wavy, the analyst
At the center is a chat agent called Wavy. It reads your holdings, market flows and news, then answers in plain language instead of dumping a ten-screen table on you.
According to the project, the AI does no math itself. Metrics, backtests and filing data come from separate modules, and the assistant only explains what they return. For a financial tool that is a sensible design, since it leaves less room for a model to invent a number.
Cards instead of dull spreadsheets
A portfolio here is assembled from collectible cards. Each card reflects a real set of positions, and you attach it to your in-game portfolio 🃏
- Whale cards: copy the positions of large crypto holders, stock investors and funds, refreshed from on-chain data and filings.
- Smart cards: ready-made sets in crypto, classic assets, or a mix of both.
- Custom cards: the AI builds a set for your request in any market.
- Boosters: amplify gains, soften losses or add skills to a persona.
Five steps from a question to a leaderboard
The game loop is built so a beginner does not need to master market jargon first.
- Ask Wavy questions: for example, what diversification means.
- Collect cards and boosters that fit your idea.
- Combine them into a portfolio and run it in the sandbox.
- Compare your result with other players on the leaderboard.
- Open reward boxes.
Which markets and data sources
The project claims coverage of crypto, stocks, tokenized assets, fixed income, DeFi, commodities, futures, options and forex. Data sources include whale flows, fund filings, on-chain activity, dark-pool trades and news.
Nothing needs configuring: no API keys, no exchange connections. The project website says you can start for free, with no card and no wallet.
Where the game ends
This is a learning tool, not a broker and not a wallet. The project states that it does not hold your funds, that the analysis is educational, and that returns are not guaranteed 📉
Some rewards, per the description, can be real: from in-game bonuses to cash and tokenized assets sent to a wallet you connect. If you decide to connect a wallet, check the address of the app and never type your secret phrase anywhere.
One more point: a good result in a sandbox will not repeat itself on a live market. The game has no fees, no slippage and no fear of a red balance. Treat the tests as practice and not as a promise of income.
Real investing happens outside the app, through your own account, and the decision is yours alone.
Who will get something out of it
Beginners who want to see how portfolios work, and anyone who tests ideas before putting money in. The format suits people bored by dry terminals: there is a leaderboard, rewards and a conversation with an AI.
Experienced traders can use the sandbox for quick hypothesis tests, but money decisions should rest on your own analysis, ideally with an adviser 🧭
