Anony Sender: no forward tags

Forwarding a post from a channel and not wanting the "Forwarded from" label above it? Anony Sender strips that tag: you send the bot some content and get a copy back with no source label. A simple tool for one job. 😶

The bot's profile is short: no forward tags, captions can stay or go, and it runs fast. Nothing extra.

What the bot actually does

When you forward a message in Telegram, a banner with the channel or author name appears above it. Anony Sender returns the same content as an ordinary message without that banner.

• No forward tag. The message looks as though it was sent directly.
• With or without caption. The caption under a photo, video or file can be kept or dropped.
• Speed. The bot replies at once, and there are no long settings.

How to use it

1. Open the bot and press /start.
2. Send or forward it a message, photo, video or file.
3. Choose whether to keep the caption.
4. Take the clean copy and forward it wherever you need.

Why people need it

There are several reasons, and most are harmless. For example, you want to send a friend a picture without the extra banner, or put together a tidy collection of materials for your chat.

• Clean collections. Files and photos without service labels look neater.
• Personal notes. You save material for yourself without naming the channel.
• Post design. You want to format a publication your own way.

Ethics and copyright

When you remove the source label, you also remove the author's credit. If the material is someone else's and you publish it openly, name the source in words yourself.

Copying content without crediting the author can break channel rules and copyright law. Use the tool for personal and lawful purposes.

What the bot does not do

The word anonymous is easy to misread. The bot removes the forward tag for the recipient, but it sees everything you send, and messages pass through its server.

So passports, passwords, banking data and other sensitive material should not go through bots like this. For real privacy, use Telegram secret chats.

The bot also does not hide your account from Telegram administrators and does not protect you from reports if you send prohibited content.

Small tips

If you forward many files, send them in batches and check the result after each. A failure is easier to spot than sorting through dozens of messages later.

The bot comes from a small group of authors who release little utilities for Telegram. Directories have mentioned it since 2020, so the project is no newcomer.

Do not expect a large feature set. It is a tool for one evening and one task, and that is its charm.

If the bot does not answer

Utilities of this kind run on the authors' enthusiasm and may go offline at times. Wait a few minutes and repeat /start. If there is no answer for long, look for another way: copy the text by hand or send the file from your own client without forwarding.

The bot's audience is above one hundred forty thousand people, so at peak hours it may answer slower.
